Ms Yuen is a professionally trained art therapist (Canadian Art Therapist Association) and a registered social worker in Alberta, Canada. Ms. Yuen worked as a Clinician with Wood’s Homes-a Children Mental Health Centre in Calgary, Canada from 2012 to 2015, providing art therapy to children and families, walk-in single session counselling to individuals and couples, along with supervising graduate students. She obtained a degree of Master of Social Sciences (Family Social Work) in 2005 and has many years of direct practice experience in Hong Kong, especially in the mental health field, domestic violence and family relationships.

Professional Qualification

– Art Therapist, Professional Member of the Canadian Art Therapist Association

– Registered Social Worker, Alberta College of Social Workers, with authorization to perform psychosocial intervention

– Registered Social Worker, Hong Kong Social Workers Registration Board

I believe all people have an innate ability to be creative. Creative expression can help us to see into our thoughts and feelings, explore insights, and discover our inner resources. Through participating in this workshop, I hope everyone can have an experience of making special, building connection and creating a difference.
